It is a mystical white bird which has the body and beak of a swan while its beautiful plumage resembles a peacock. The bird is depicted as holding a flowering vine in its beak, which is symbolic of abundance. Annapakshi is also a sign of purity and the belief is that if a mixture of water and milk is offered to the bird, it can separate milk from water symbolising choosing truth over falsehood ; virtue over sin. Often found carved in ancient temples, it is a very popular motif that is used in textiles, artefacts, diyas in all of South India.

moisture, water and sweat. Proper storage will ensure that the
gold-finish, rhodium or rose-gold plating stays for a long time.
*We gold-plate our jewellery with 24 carat gold which gives it a real gold look. We do not use lacquer or other harmful chemicals.

*Avoid wearing jewellery while cooking, household cleaning,
bathing or swimming .
