A classic heritage design from Andhra Pradesh, the Guttapusalu gets its name from its signature fringe — clusters of tiny pearls that resemble “a shoal of small fish” (gutta). Pusalu translates to beads, a nod to its origin near the ancient pearl-fishing regions along the Coromandel Coast.

Traditionally, women wore two necklaces of the same design — a shorter piece layered with a longer one. We honour that legacy by offering this set in both lengths, allowing you to embrace the authentic style or choose a single piece based on your preference.

Handcrafted in 92.5 Sterling Silver, using age-old techniques of temple jewellery craftsmanship, this necklace is an heirloom creation — rich, intricate, and culturally rooted.

The necklace can be purchased alone or paired with matching earrings (priced separately).

Comes with a tassel for adjustable length; silver links/chain can be added on request at an additional cost.

* Store all pieces in airtight plastic covers (this prevents them from
being tarnished or becoming black.)
*Exposed to the atmosphere, all silver is prone to oxidation/ blackening and consequent tarnishing ; this does not in any way signify that the Silver is impure. Gentle rubbing with a silver cleaning cloth or soft cotton cloth will restore the original shine.

*Please note that gold-dipped or gold-plated/ rosegold plated silver
jewellery is meant for occasional use only, it cannot be used
everyday. Gold polish will fade with regular use and frequent exposure to air and water and will need re-plating/polishing.

has to be stored in an airtight plastic cover away from
moisture, water and sweat. Proper storage will ensure that the
gold-finish, rhodium or rose-gold plating stays for a long time.
*We gold-plate our jewellery with 24 carat gold which gives it a real gold look. We do not use lacquer or other harmful chemicals.

*Avoid wearing jewellery while cooking, household cleaning,
bathing or swimming .
