The Atyuha Silver Guttapusalu Necklace (Oxidised)

This heritage necklace carries the peacock and paisley or mango motif in its various pendants.The Gutta Pusalu is a classic design from Andhra Pradesh and is named so because the necklace is fringed with bunches of small pearls very similar to "a shoal of small fish" (gutta) .Pusalu means "beads" and this design originated in areas close to the ancient pearl fisheries along the Coromandel coast of India.

This guttapusalu necklace is a faithful reproduction of the traditional design of the necklace.Handcrafted in Sterling Silver (92.5%) with techniques, used to craft temple jewellery for centuries this necklace is a heirloom piece.This necklace is also available in gold-dipped finish.

* Store all pieces in airtight plastic covers (this prevents them from
being tarnished or becoming black.)
*Exposed to the atmosphere, all silver is prone to oxidation/ blackening and consequent tarnishing ; this does not in any way signify that the Silver is impure. Gentle rubbing with a silver cleaning cloth or soft cotton cloth will restore the original shine.

jewellery is meant for occasional use only, it cannot be used
everyday. Gold polish will fade with regular use and frequent exposure to air and water and will need re-plating/polishing.
* All Gold plated ; Rhodium plated ; Rose gold plated silver jewellery
has to be stored in an airtight plastic cover away from
moisture, water and sweat. Proper storage will ensure that the
gold-finish, rhodium or rose-gold plating stays for a long time.
*We gold-plate our jewellery with 24 carat gold which gives it a real gold look. We do not use lacquer or other harmful chemicals.

*Avoid wearing jewellery while cooking, household cleaning,
bathing or swimming .
*Repair and repolish if possible is a chargeable service .
